About Us:

Our National Impact

To reach a future where all students have access to college, educational leaders need to think bigger and forge new solutions. But we don’t have to work in isolation. In 2007, Steppingstone convened a meeting of 25 programs to explore a partnership that would support college access and college readiness on a national scale. Today, members across the country benefit from this partnership—and collectively serve hundreds of thousands of students nationwide.

National Partnership for Educational Access (NPEA)

NPEA is a membership organization that elevates and amplifies a broad coalition of voices committed to educational access for students from under-resourced communities, kindergarten through college.

Only through the power of participation can we truly move forward to a more inclusive place for all students to thrive.

Annual Conference

Each year, more than 300 attendees come together to learn from one another and from industry experts. The small group format of conference workshops encourages a high level of participation and exchange of ideas, as well as ample opportunity for networking. Attendees report gaining substantive information to share with their respective organizations in addition to valuable contacts with whom to compare successes and challenges.
